Larry D. is living with multiple sclerosis and primarily bed-bound. His sister helps take care of him on the weekends, and an aide assists him 3 times a week. When he first began service with Food & Friends, Larry was struggling to meet his food needs and often had to rely on takeout when he did not have a caregiver present. He describes the meals he receives from Food & Friends as "gourmet." Larry enjoys visiting with his volunteer drivers and sometimes calls the office to see which volunteer is delivering to his house that day.
