Maurice V. has been receiving meals from Food & Friends since April of 2007, at which point he was receiving home hospice care and preparing to restart his medical treatment. He has actively participated in Food & Friends events as best he can, including joining other clients at a DC United soccer game. Maurice often calls us to praise his delivery drivers. He recently has begun to feel well enough to prepare more of his own food and has consequently switched to our Groceries to Go program.
