On Monday, June 14th, Food & Friends’ best supporters will gather at the Hilton Washington for our 20th Anniversary Chef’s Best Dinner & Auction presented by ING. Featuring 60 of the region's brightest culinary stars, guests will enjoy innovative, one-of-a-kind tasting opportunities and have the chance to bid on exciting live and silent auction items. 

Food & Friends’ winning recipe – combining healthy ingredients with compassion, volunteer service and charitable support – creates not only life-sustaining nutrition but also hope that changes the lives of those facing HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-challenging illnesses in immeasurable ways. 

In 2009, guests at Chef's Best helped to deliver 940,000 meals to 2,800 children and adults in the District, 7 counties of Maryland and 7 counties and 6 independent cities in Virginia. The impact of the work that so many in the community makes possible, is best shown through the words of one of our clients:
