WHAT IS SLICE OF LIFE?

Slice of Life is the only area pie sale allowing you to purchase your Thanksgiving pies while making an impact in the lives of thousands in need in your community. As a supporter you can buy pies for you and your family, as gifts for friends and for us to deliver to our clients on Thanksgiving Day. Each pie purchased will provide one full day of meals for a neighbor in need.

PICKING-UP YOUR PIE

When purchasing your pie, you'll be asked to select a Pie Pick-Up Location. Pies will be available on Tuesday, November 22nd from 11am to 8pm. Thanks to the generosity of CVS Caremark/CVS Pharmacy, we are proud to offer 26 pick-up sites in the metro area. Food & Friends volunteers will be stationed at each site to help with your pick-up. Your pies will ONLY be available at the location you select when you place your order.

YOUR CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTION

Since Food & Friends is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization your contribution may be considered tax-deductible. The fair market value for the purchase of a $25 pie is $7.00 and for a $40 pie is $10.00. The remainder of your purchase, and the purchase of any pies for clients, is fully tax-deductible. All contributors to Slice of Life will receive tax documentation from Food & Friends after the event.
