First Day Deliveries - A new client's first meal is always delivered by a staff member.  This person is able to sit down with the client, answer any questions they might have, assess their living situation and be a friendly ear if the client needs to talk.

Donations - Items such as microwaves, water filters and pitchers, magazines, phone cards, haircuts and grocery vouchers are distributed to clients whenever we receive them.

Birthday Cakes - We recognize client birthdays by including one of our delicious chocolate cakes with the client's regular food delivery on the special day.

Holidays -  While Food & Friends delivers on all holidays, Thanksgiving is particularly special as each of our clients who would like a meal receives a traditional Thanksgiving dinner -- with all the trimmings -- with enough food to feed four people, so that they may host their loved ones.

Knitting Project - Each year, Food & Friends collects scarves -- along with hats, gloves, shawls and afghans -- to keep our clients toasty during the colder months.  We even host classes for prospective knitters!
