150 Restaurants in the Washington Area

The Largest Dinner Party in Town -- hosted by yours truly -- Food & Friends! On March 6th, more than 150 restaurants in the Washington metropolitian area will donate a portion of their sales to Food & Friends. Hundreds of volunteer ambassadors are needed at these restaurants in order to educate diners as to our mission and to raise additional funds. TEAM Food & Friends Cycling Event
July 24-27, 2008

For three days in July, Food & Friends' most dedicated supporters will ride their bikes in support of men, women and children battling some of life's most difficult challenges.  The weekend is typically full of camaraderie, entertainment and friends, and this year's event will be no different.  In 2007, thanks to the dedication of our more than 70 riders and their friends and family, more than $240,000 was raised for our services. One of the highlights of our year, on Thanksgiving Day Food & Friends will deliver more than 7,800 pounds of turkey, as well as the traditional fixings, to our clients so that they may host their friends and loved ones for a traditional holiday dinner. Supported by more than 800 volunteers, you, too, can be an important part of this day by making a contribution to Food & Friends or volunteering with us.
