We’re excited to let you know about an exciting new way that you can support Food & Friends while shopping at regional Maryland Safeways!

During the entire month of September, Food & Friends will be a beneficiary of The Albertsons Companies’ national Hunger Is campaign, which works to ensure kids have access to breakfast all year long. Every time you shop at a participating Safeway store, you’ll have the opportunity to make a donation at the register to help Food & Friends provide nutritious breakfasts to children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, or another serious illness, or whose parents are living with one of these conditions. In order to combat hunger when food is most scarce, the meals funded by this campaign will be delivered during school breaks and holidays over the upcoming year.
